The American College of Counselors, Inc. (ACC) awards:

Meritorious Service Award:

The Meritorious Service Award is presented to an individual that has demonstrated service to the profession of counseling and/or to ACC.

Ellen E Mangum:

Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to Counseling: Honors counselors who have made distinguished theoretical or empirical contributions throughout their careers.

Hirsch Lazaar Silverman:

Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Clinical Counseling: Honors counselors who have made distinguished advances in counseling leading to the understanding or amelioration of important practical problems and honors counselors who have made outstanding contributions to the general profession of clinical counseling.

William H Corley:

Award for Distinguished Contributions to Diversity in Counseling: Honors counselors who have made remarkable contributions to the understanding of human diversity and whose contributions to the understanding of human diversity and whose contributions have significant promise for bettering the human condition, overcoming prejudice, and enhancing the quality of life for humankind.

Patrick Curran:

Award for Distinguished Educator in Clinical Counseling: Honors counselors who display excellence in mentoring counseling graduate students, interns, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty. If will recognize those individuals who have been outstanding in supporting, encouraging and promoting education and training, professional and personal development, and career guidance to junior colleagues.
